Baldi is known for his creepy fits of anger, and if you make him furious with your stupidity (which basically happens every time you make a mistake), he will chase you all over the school. Evil math teacher vs. reckless kid

It’s not so simple to make Baldi leave you alone. That can happen if you run away far enough from him or if Baldi gets distracted by something else – thanks to this feature, you can use various tricks that will buy you some time. For instance, there is a tape recorder in the principal’s room that you can turn on. When Baldi hears the voice of the principal making an announcement from the tape, he will drop the pursuit and hurry to his office.

However, it’s just as easy to get the mad teacher back on track. He has a rather good hearing, and you can alert him with every little sound – even slight squeaking of the door. So you have to be extremely careful and behave as quietly as possible when Baldi is around. Note that his speed will also keep increasing with every notebook you collect. After you pick up the last seventh notebook allowing you to leave the campus, Baldi will start running faster than you.

Can you escape Baldi and get out of the school?

The seven notebooks will give you a key to freedom. But it’s not enough to just collect them – you also have to solve three math problems in each of them.
